Strabismus is a medical condition when eyes don’t line up or when one or both eyes wander.
•. The eyes may turn inward (called Esotropia or Cross-eyed)
• Up (hypertropia)
When eyes don’t line up together. Then the straight eye becomes dominant and the weaker eye doesn’t focus as it should ,it’s connection to the brain doesn’t form correctly which can lead to blindness.
Strabismus is common amongst kids; kids can be born with it or develop it in childhood, often caused by a problem with the muscles that move the eyes and can run in families (hereditary).
